A local business is seeking a competent Billing Specialist to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company’s accounts are consistent in providing a clear bill register to the customer.
To qualify for this position you MUST:
- Have 1+ years proven experience as a billing specialist
- Be comfortable dealing with numbers and processing of financial information
- Be results-driven and patient
- Possess a high degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
- Be a good critical thinker
You’ll be responsible for:
- Handling the processing of incoming services and skillfully invoicing the amounts in a clear way
- Ensuring the status of accounts and balances and identifying inconsistencies
- Ensuring clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
- Providing solutions to any billing issues such as manual entry of missing data and diligent follow up
- Clearly and thoroughly reporting issues
- Typing thorough reports and findings on billing activity with clear and reliable data
- Communicating clearly and effectively with coworkers on issues that are found
- Running monthly/weekly reports and correcting client accounts
Physical Requirements and Environment: Office environment, must be able to sit for long periods of time. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
